Krista Connolly
Senior Client Manager
Krista joined BWH Communication upon returning to Australia after working for several years in the United Kingdom public relations industry, both in-house and for internationally renowned communications agencies.
A qualified journalist, Krista's 'inside knowledge' of the media earned her a high-profile position with the UK government-appointed public transport "watchdog's" communication team. At 'Passenger Focus' Krista was responsible for maintaining the organisation's significant national, regional and trade media presence, briefing daily transport correspondents and preparing senior management for broadcast and newspaper interviews.
The role also encompassed media and communications strategy, reputation management, business reporting, stakeholder engagement, event coordination, marketing and branding, internal and external communications.
Before joining 'Passenger Focus' in 2008, Krista was employed by communications consultancies in the West Midlands and then London. During this period she was able to work with clients that operate globally in the industrial, energy, manufacturing, aviation, engineering, property, pharmaceutical, building and facility-management sectors.
Prior to the move into public relations, Krista was an award-winning news reporter and edited regional newspapers in South Australia and Victoria.
Krista's educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism (University of South Australia) and Diploma in Public Relations (London Metropolitan University) awarded by the prestigious Chartered Institute of Public Relations in the UK.
