John Bayly

Managing Director

 

John Bayly is managing director of BWH Communication. He has over 30 years experience in corporate communication, media relations, issues management and investor relations. John entered the public relations industry in 1977, and was subsequently appointed public affairs manager for one of Queensland’s largest building societies. Until co-founding the company in 1988, he was an Account Director for a number of Brisbane’s largest public relations consultancies. He is the recipient of numerous industry awards, including several Gold Awards for Investor/Financial Relations at both state and national level.

Over the past 25 years he has advised numerous ASX listed companies on targeted communication strategies to support capital raisings, IPO listings, divestitures and takeovers and acquisitions.

He has also implemented a broad range of communication initiatives on behalf of numerous government agencies including Queensland Rail, Department of Infrastructure and Planning, Department of Natural Resources and Water, Queensland Transport and the Department of Tourism, Regional Development and Industry.

John is a Fellow of the Public Relations Institute of Australia.
