Indooroopilly’s buzzing world record attempt

Shavers were buzzing over-time at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre when 232 heads were shaved over four hours in what was potentially a world-record breaking feat for World’s Greatest Shave organisers.

The event saw 162 men, 32 women and 38 children shave their curls, locks and manes in support of the Leukaemia Foundation, also raising well over $4,000 on the day.

A video recording and signed statements have been sent to the Guiness World Records head office in London for officials to assess the attempt.

Congratulations Indooroopilly Shopping Centre, it was definitely one for the record books!
